  Our representative will meet you at the airport and assist with your transfer to the hotel.

  Sunny and beautiful Goa is located on the western Konkan coast of India, along the Arabian Sea, and is nestled on the slopes of the Western Ghats. The region's magnificent scenic beauty, combined with the architectural splendor of its temples, churches, and colonial houses, has made Goa a beloved destination for travelers worldwide.

  According to Hindu mythology, Lord Parshuram, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is credited with the creation of Goa. Over the centuries, various dynasties have ruled Goa, including the Rashtrakutas, Kadambas, Silaharas, Chalukyas, Bahamani Muslims, and most famously, the Portuguese. Goa was liberated from Portuguese rule by the Indian Army on December 19, 1961.

  Goa Sightseeing
  

  After breakfast, proceed for a day of sightseeing in Goa.

  Situated on the Mandovi River, Goa still reflects a strong Portuguese heritage in its plazas, cathedrals, and architecture. While it is best known for its 105 km long pristine beaches lined with palm trees, the discerning traveler will also explore Goa’s other attractions, particularly its magnificent colonial churches which together form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Notable among these are the Portuguese Catholic Church of Old Goa, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, and churches in Margao, Colva, and Mormugao.

  The tour also includes visits to Mapusa town, Mayem Lake, and the famous beaches of Vagator, Anjuna, and Calangute, as well as Fort Aguada in North Goa.

  Breakfast will be at the hotel.
  

  The day is at your leisure. Spend it relaxing on the beautiful beaches, exploring local markets, or enjoying some of Goa’s vibrant nightlife. You might also choose to indulge in some water sports or simply unwind at your hotel.

  Goa Airport Departure
