TERMS & CONDITIONS


Affluent Travel and Leisure Pvt Ltd
outlines the terms and conditions applicable to all reservations and tour bookings. Please review these statements, which detail our respective rights and obligations. By confirming your booking, we assume you have read and agreed to our booking conditions. Additionally, you must sign the last page of the booking form, providing the requested tour details.

1. Tour Booking & Confirmation Process:

  • Once the tour is finalized, we will request you to process the advance booking amount, which will vary based on the tour’s duration, travel date, and other factors. Usually, 30 to 50 percent of the booking amount is required in advance. For tours with close dates, we collect 100 percent payment in advance. This information will be communicated to you via email.
  • Along with the payment request, we will attach the booking form and the terms and conditions associated with the tour. You need to send us a copy of the duly filled and signed booking form as confirmation. Additionally, we may require passport copies of each guest to ensure accurate name references.
  • We will then provide a detailed tour invoice, breaking down the total amount due for your tour. Various payment methods will be available for you to opt the one most convenient one. For bank transfers, share you need to share a copy of the transaction receipt so that your payment can be tracked.
  • Upon receiving the payment in our bank account, we will send you a confirmation letter with payment details, accounting for any currency fluctuations and inward charges for international transactions. We will then begin hotel and other booking processes, sharing status updates and confirmations with you accordingly.
  • The booking process will commence only after payment is received in our bank account. Since we do not hold any hotel, flight, or train reservations for you in advance, bookings are subject to availability. If any hotels or flights are unavailable at the time of booking, we will arrange alternatives of the same standard, keeping you informed through regular email updates for your clarity and approval.

2. Tour Inclusions & Exclusions:

We trust you have reviewed the inclusions and exclusions outlined in your tour program, as these details are final from our end. The listed inclusions will be provided, and exclusions will not be part of the tour unless specifically requested at an extra charge.

Standard Inclusions:

  • Accommodation: Comfortable lodging throughout the tour.
  • Transport: Convenient transportation arrangements.
  • Assistance: Support and guidance during your trip.
  • Activities: Some extra activities based on the tour and guest preferences.

Tour guides, monument entrance fees, and additional services are included only with guest consent. Since not every guest requires all services, inclusions are finalized based on guest preferences.

Standard Exclusions:

  • International Airfare: Not included in the tour package.
  • Tipping: Tips are not covered.
  • Professional Camera Fee: Charges for professional camera use are excluded.
  • Currency Fluctuation: Costs related to foreign currency fluctuations are not included.

Occasionally, modifications are made based on guest requests. Please refer to your exclusion section for specific details. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please write to us immediately.

3. Advances & Balance Payment:

To secure your tour, we request an advance payment of 30 to 50 percent of the booking amount. The exact amount varies depending on the tour, its duration, and how early you are making the booking. For tours booked close to the arrival date, 100 percent of the amount is required to begin the booking process.

Balance Payment:

The remaining balance must be paid 30 to 40 days before arrival. In some cases, guests may be allowed to pay the balance upon arrival. This decision depends on factors such as the tour amount and duration. If this applies to you, we will specify in the email whether cash or card payment is acceptable upon arrival in India.

If we do not specify this in the email, you must adhere to the standard policy of clearing all balance payments 30 to 40 days before arrival. Failure to do so may result in tour cancellation, following our cancellation policy. We will notify you before proceeding with any cancellation.

4. Mode of Payments We Accept:

We offer the following payment methods for your convenience:

International Wire/Bank Transfer: We will provide our banking details for you to transfer the payment through your bank. The tour quote will be specified in your currency or USD (unless you request a quote in INR) to facilitate the transfer. Please note that international transactions may incur currency fluctuations and inward/outward charges, which could lead to a 1-2 percent variance in the payment amount. If necessary, we will notify you of any discrepancies upon receipt of the payment, and you may need to cover any differences accordingly.

Online Card Payment (via payment link): We accept online card payments through a secure payment link. Please note that gateway charges (for online payment processing) ranging between 3.5% to 4% will apply if you choose this method. These charges are to be borne by the guest in addition to the tour cost.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy:

We understand that circumstances may necessitate the cancellation of your tour to India. In such instances, we shall adhere to the following policy:

All cancellations must be communicated to Affluent Travel and Leisure Pvt Ltd in writing. Refund calculations will commence from the date of email notification. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival: 25% retention charges apply.
  • Cancellation up to 45 days before arrival: 50% retention charges apply.
  • Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival: 75% retention charges apply.
  • Cancellation up to 15 days before arrival: No refund.

For accommodations at hotels and luxury trains, the policy of the respective establishments will apply. Similarly, for flight and train bookings, the policies of the respective airlines and Indian Railways will apply. Policies for cancellations by Foreign Tour Operators/Agents will vary as per their agreements.

Note: No refunds will be provided for any unused services listed in the itinerary. However, substitute arrangements, if applicable, will be payable. 

6. Amendments or Alterations by You:

We kindly request minimal alterations whenever possible. There are two types of alterations: those arising from flight delays or changes, which we aim to accommodate by adjusting schedules accordingly. Any applicable supplement charges will be communicated to you promptly.

Other alterations, such as cancelling stays at specific places or adding destinations, depending up on feasibility. Please note, we cannot guarantee changes without levying certain charges. Upon receiving your requests, we will assess possibilities and present the best options to you for your decision.

7. Amendments or Alterations by Us:

While we strive to minimize changes to your holiday plans, unforeseen circumstances may necessitate alterations. For instance, in cases of natural disasters affecting destinations, we will promptly inform you and propose alternative tour programs. Adjustments in tour costs will be made accordingly; refunds or additional payments may apply depending on the circumstances.

Changes due to flight schedule disruptions will be managed to minimize inconvenience. Rest assured, any alterations made will prioritize your convenience and will be communicated with your consent.

8. Special Requests:

Please inform us of any special requests or arrangements you require, such as birthday or anniversary celebrations in advance. You may also specify activities you wish to experience during your time in India. Additionally, let us know of any assistance needed, such as wheelchair access, baby seats, altitude sickness precautions, dietary requirements, allergies, or bedding preferences.

9. Force Majeure:

Except where expressly stated otherwise in our booking conditions, we regret that we cannot accept liability or provide compensation for any damage, loss, or expense resulting from force majeure. This term encompasses events beyond our or our suppliers' control, including but not limited to war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activities, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire, and similar unforeseeable events.

10. Liability & Responsibility:

Affluent Travel & Leisure Pvt Ltd, along with its operators and agents, assumes no liability for injuries, damages, losses, accidents, delays, irregularities, or additional costs directly or indirectly resulting from various causes. These may include weather conditions, transportation delays, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbances, theft, government regulations, or changes beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify itineraries when deemed necessary for guest or group safety or compliance with government restrictions/regulations.
