  Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and Transfer to the Hotel

  Welcome to "The Roof of the World." Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a traditional flower garland. Rest and relax before this afternoon’s briefing by your guide, who will outline the exciting experiences that await you in Nepal.

  Kathmandu Sightseeing

  Start your spiritual journey with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu shrines. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, it is renowned for its beautiful architecture and cremation ghats. Experience the vibrant atmosphere with devotees meditating and praying along the riverbanks.

  Next, visit Boudhanath Stupa, the largest of its kind in the world. This 5th-century Buddhist monument is notable for its hundreds of prayer wheels and 108 Buddha images around the stupa.

  In the afternoon, explore the medieval city of Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through winding streets lined with 13th-century homes and temples. Admire the intricately carved Golden Gate, the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, and Nyatpola Temple in Taumadhi Square. Observe traditional potters at work at the Pottery Center.

  Kathmandu Sightseeing

  Post breakfast, begin with a tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, a cluster of ancient temples and palaces that showcase the city’s religious and cultural life. Visit Hanuman Dhoka Palace and the Temple of Kumari, home to Nepal’s living goddess. See the Kal Bhairav statue and the Temple of the Goddess Taleju.

  Continue to Swayambhunath, a 2000-year-old Buddhist stupa perched on a hilltop. It is known for its striking copper spires and the four sides adorned with the eyes of Buddha, symbolizing watchfulness.

  In the afternoon, visit Patan, the “City of Fine Arts.” Explore the main square, renowned for its Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. Highlights include the Royal Palace, Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple, and Mahabouddha Temple.
