  Our representative will meet you at Mumbai airport and transfer you to the hotel.

  Originally an archipelago of seven islands on the Arabian Sea, Mumbai was named after Mumba Devi, the patron goddess of the local Koli fishermen. In the 19th century, reclamation work merged the islands into a continuous strip of land, forming the Mumbai we know today. As India's commercial capital and the heart of Bollywood, the city showcases a blend of contrasts: Ferraris and Premier Padmini cabs share the roads, while glitzy malls stand alongside bustling local markets.

  Mumbai Sightseeing

  Post breakfast, proceed for a full day of Mumbai sightseeing:

  Dhobi Ghat: Mumbai’s traditional laundry district, where clothes are washed, starched, and ironed in open-air concrete wash pens. The most famous is at Saat Rasta near Mahalaxmi Station.

  Mumbai Fort: This area north of Colaba features impressive colonial buildings from Mumbai's golden era. Visit St. John's Church, dedicated to soldiers of 1838 and 1843.

  Gateway of India: Mumbai's iconic archway built to commemorate the 1911 visit of King George V and Queen Mary, located at Apollo Bunder.

  Flora Fountain/Hutatma Chowk: Erected in 1869 in honor of a British governor, this fountain at a major city junction is known as Mumbai's 'Piccadilly Circus'.

  Victoria Terminus/Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus: An architectural gem combining Gothic and Indian styles, completed in 1885. It's one of the world's finest train stations.

  Mumbai High Court: An English Gothic-style building near Oval Ground, notable for its impressive architecture and statues of Justice and Mercy.

  Rajabai Clock Tower: A 280-foot tower at Bombay University, decorated with statues of various Indian castes.

  Marine Drive: Known as the Queen's Necklace for its illuminated street lamps at night, it stretches from Nariman Point to Babulnath.

  Chowpatty Beach: Located at the end of Marine Drive, this central Mumbai beach is a site for various Hindu ceremonies.

  Enjoy the evening at Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach.

  Mumbai - Cochin (By Flight)

  Post breakfast, transfer to Mumbai airport and take a flight to Cochin.

  Upon arrival at Cochin airport, you will be assisted and transferred to the hotel.

  Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a historic port city in Kerala with a rich heritage shaped by Arab, Chinese, and European influences. Key sights include Fort Kochi with its colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship, and the iconic cantilevered Chinese fishing nets.

  Kathakali Dance: This evening, enjoy a performance of Kathakali, a traditional dance drama depicting episodes from Indian epics with stylized gestures, elaborate make-up, masks, and splendid costumes.

  Cochin - Munnar (By Surface)

  Post breakfast, proceed for Cochin sightseeing:

  Explore the historic Fort Cochin area, which retains its medieval charm from over 1000 years ago. The narrow streets and old buildings reflect a blend of Portuguese, Dutch, and English influences on the tropical Malabar Coast.

  Visit the Chinese Fishing Nets, a traditional method where nets are lowered and raised using a primitive fulcrum mechanism.

  Explore the 16th-century Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. This double-storied building features a central courtyard with a Hindu temple and stunning murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and other legends.

  Discover Jew Town, home to an ancient Jewish community with a historic Synagogue and bustling spice markets. The area is alive with the aroma of spices such as ginger, cardamom, and turmeric.

  Drive to Munnar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Munnar, including its coffee and tea gardens, and shop for local tea, coffee, cashews, and spices at Abbas & Co. Tea Merchants and Green Land Spice Supermarket.

  Munnar Sightseeing

  After enjoying the natural delights on the second day, spend your third day visiting key attractions in Munnar, such as the Tata Tea Museum, Anamudi Peak, Mattupetty Dam, Eravikulam National Park, and Top Station. Be sure to also buy some special tea from Munnar while exploring the town.

  Munnar - Periyar/Thekkady (By Surface)

  Post breakfast drive to Periyar. Reach and check-in at the hotel.

  It’s time for the wildlife explorations in the afternoon. Periyar National Park, also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve, is in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala, southern India.

  This wildlife sanctuary is home to tigers and a significant elephant population, as well as rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison. In the park's north, Periyar Lake is popular for boat rides. Farther north, spice plantations surround the town of Kumily.

  Back to the hotel and enjoy a relaxing stay.

  Periyar - Kumarakom (By Surface)
  

  Post breakfast, drive to Kumarakom and check in at the hotel.

  Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala. It features a network of canals navigated by houseboats. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to various bird species, including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum showcases unique wooden sculptures. Pathiramanal Island in the lake is a refuge for rare migratory birds, while the ancient Thazhathangady Mosque is located east of Kumarakom.

  Post breakfast, drive to Alleppey and embark on the houseboat.

  Alappuzha (or Alleppey) is a city on the Laccadive Sea in Kerala, southern India. It is renowned for its houseboat cruises along the serene backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. Alappuzha Beach features the historic 19th-century Alappuzha Lighthouse. The city’s Mullakkal Temple is noted for its traditional architecture, and Punnamada Lake is famous for its annual snake boat races.
